Greetings! My name is Doug, and I'm the son of a paint artist from rural California. I began my journey into artistic expression as a photographer and branched into multimedia. I create images that show my enduring love of natural beauty. I am quite nearly 100% self-taught. My mother taught me composition, and the rest is my application. To me, composition is everything. The Natural World inspires me. I am a scientist who discovered his right brain in mid-life. I grew up in the country spending my days roaming in the backcountry, often by myself. I love experiencing Nature and finding ways to share my visions of created reality. I'm always on the lookout.
